Manufacturing Process

Study and Documentation

The purpose of this stage is twofold: to ensure that the design of our product is as faithful as possible to the original piece to be reproduced, or to guarantee the correct development in the new designs.

Creation of Sketches

To begin the process, in some cases it is necessary to make a scale sketch of the final product, which will try to reflect the final design and colour of the piece. For this purpose, the artistic technique of watercolour is traditionally used, which allows the characteristics of the textile pieces to be properly imitated.

Drawing of the "Cardboard"

Once the design phase has been completed, our designers create the "cardboard" in real size on paper. This part of the process allows us to translate the design into textile language, for which the drawing must be adapted to each of the techniques: rug, embroidery, tapestry...

Raw Material Selection

We select the best quality of wool and silk to be used, which gives the finished work the desired character, texture and colours.

Completion

The comprehensive control of all the phases that make up the manufacturing process allows us to offer our customers the possibility of producing any carpet, tapestry or custom-made rug, with the desired shape, design and colour. We turn knots into art.
